Dr. Khandekar became most passionate about addressing the obesity epidemic through performing non-invasive, non-surgical bariatric weight loss procedures, such as endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), gastric bypass revision, AspireAssist® tube placement, and gastric balloon placement. He is committed to helping patients transform their lives by jumpstarting and maintaining weight loss, in addition to connecting them with nutrition counseling and follow-up support. Dr. Khandekar is known for his high level of compassion toward his patients, as well as his expertise.

Not only is Dr. Khandekar a highly trained physician and gastroenterologist, but he is also a former affiliate assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and a published medical author.
