Paige Craven earned a bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition at Appalachian State University, her master’s in Nutrition at Meredith College, and completed the dietetics internship at Meredith College. Paige is also certified in Motivational Interviewing, a goal directed counseling style designed to help individuals resolve internal ambivalence and harness the motivation to create positive behavior change. This evidence-based method improves treatment outcomes by supporting patients on their journey while strengthening their motivations and well-being. She is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. Paige has over 12 years of experience in fitness and eight years in nutrition and weight management.
Paige was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. She is an avid runner and has run two half marathons and one full marathon, placing 1st and 2nd in her age group. When she is not running, she also enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and being around friends and family. As a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she is constantly striving to stay informed on current and updated nutritional science.
As a compassionate professional, Paige understands the craziness of life and loves helping others find solutions to barriers they may encounter throughout their health journey. She also understands that nutrition and fitness is individualized and enjoys personalizing goals to their fitness level and food preferences. She knows when to meet someone where they are and when to give them a small, positive and motivating push to help them achieve their goals.
