Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (also known as ESG) is an innovative, non-surgical weight loss procedure that can help you lose up to 20% of your body weight. It’s a safe and highly-effective option that rivals traditional bariatric surgery – offering comparable weight loss results without surgery. The endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty procedure reduces the size of your stomach by 70% to 80%, which limits how much you can eat, restricts your calorie intake, and helps you feel full for longer – all resulting in rapid, sustainable weight loss.

Gastric Balloons

An intragastric balloon consists of a silicone balloon that is placed into the stomach and filled with saline. The balloon takes up space in the stomach to restrict the amount of food you can eat before feeling full. This device is left in the stomach for a prescribed period (usually 6-8 months) to help you jumpstart the weight loss process – and is removed at the end of your treatment. A gastric balloon placement procedure is fully reversible and leaves no permanent changes to the anatomy.

The endoscopic sleeve revision is a same-day, outpatient, non-surgical procedure that tightens a sleeve gastrectomy to provide restored fullness and satiety. This procedure is best suited for patients who had a surgical sleeve gastrectomy and have since re-gained weight and can eat larger portions. With an endoscopic sleeve revision, the sleeve is made small again through a brief, outpatient, 15-minute procedure. The result? Patients will find they have a restored sense of fullness, can feel satisfied with much smaller portions, and can get their lifestyle—and life—back on track.

bypass revision explained

Endoscopic Gastric Bypass Revision is an outpatient, non-surgical procedure designed to stop weight regain and jumpstart weight loss after gastric bypass bariatric surgery. The procedure is performed by a highly-trained gastroenterologist who uses advanced techniques to help tighten the surgical pouch and outlet created during the original gastric bypass surgery to their original size – promoting rapid, sustainable weight loss.

Gastric Fundus Mucosal Ablation (GFMA) is a novel, groundbreaking procedure pioneered by the medical and research teams at True You Weight Loss.

The procedure involves endoscopic gastric mucosal ablation or application of thermal energy (heat) to the inner lining of the top part of the stomach called the gastric Fundus. It is performed by a gastroenterologist using an endoscope, a small tube with a camera, and a light.
