MEET Matthew Motley, CRNA

Matthew is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for True You Weight Loss–Atlanta. He attended Auburn University and earned bachelor’s degrees in both Exercise Science and Nursing. He went on to complete a master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2014. Matthew is board certified by the NBCRNA and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.

In his 13 years as an RN and CRNA, Matthew has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, including a variety of specialties: open heart, trauma, vascular, bariatrics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, obstetrics, among others.

Matthew believes the patient’s experience at True You Weight Loss is of upmost importance. Therefore, his goal is to always care for his patients as if they were his own family—kindly addressing their concerns and providing a pleasant and safe anesthesia experience.

Fun facts about Matthew:

• He is the husband to an amazing wife, Lindsey, and the dad to two sons, Graham (3) and baby boy due October 2022. Whether at home or vacationing, Matthew loves spending time with family.
• He appreciates good coffee and freshly mowed lawns.
• He enjoys exercising and has competed in a variety of different events, races, and triathlons.
• He played football for Auburn University. War Eagle!
